LastStop Privacy Policy
LastStop is a work app for delivery companies: hiring, team messages and, for companies that turn them on, schedules, payroll and fleet records. It is run by LastStopIQ LLC (a Florida limited liability company, "we"). This policy covers the LastStop website at app.laststop.app and the LastStop iPhone apps.
The short version
- Your company decides what goes into LastStop. We keep it to run the app for your company and for nothing else.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not track anyone across other companies' apps or websites.
- There is no analytics, advertising or tracking code in LastStop.
- No artificial intelligence (AI) or machine-learning provider receives your data, and nobody trains AI models on it.
- You can download your own data and delete your account inside the app, at any time.
Who is in charge of the information
LastStop is used by companies (our customers) for their own staff and job applicants. Your company controls the information it puts into LastStop, and we handle it on your company's behalf and on its instructions. If you work for, or applied to, a company that uses LastStop, questions about your records usually go to that company first; we help them answer you. For the account you sign in with, we are responsible directly.
What LastStop collects
Your account
- Name, work email address, the company or companies you belong to, your role, your locations and which pages you may open.
- Your password, stored only as a one-way scrambled value (we cannot read it).
- Sign-in records to keep accounts safe: when you signed in, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address. Your browser's description (user agent) is kept with your sign-in session. Failed sign-ins are counted the same way so we can stop password guessing.
- When you accept these terms: the time, the terms version and the account that accepted.
What your company enters
- Job applicants: name, phone, email, the job and location applied for, where they heard about it, hiring status, notes, follow-up dates, and documents or photos uploaded to their file. Background check and drug test status (for example "clear" or "pending") may be recorded. The checks themselves are done by the company's own provider.
- New-hire onboarding, for companies that use it: what the new hire enters on their onboarding link, which can include date of birth, home address, an emergency contact, driver's licence and DOT medical card details and photos, and the employment-eligibility (I-9) documents the employer must check, which can include a photo of a Social Security card and passport or immigration document numbers. These are kept only in the company's own space, only people the company allows can open them, and they are never sent to any other provider.
- Offer letters: the offer, and when it is accepted, the name typed as a signature, the time, and a scrambled form of the internet address and the browser it was signed from (proof of the signature).
- Team messages and alerts people write inside the company.
- Staff, schedules, fleet and payroll records, for companies that use those parts: names, contact details, schedules, vehicle details and documents with expiry dates, and pay records.
- A history of who changed what and when, so the company can see the history of its own records.
From your phone, only when you use the feature
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to take or pick a photo or document to upload.
- Face ID: if you turn on "Unlock with Face ID", your iPhone checks your face itself; LastStop only learns "unlocked" or "not unlocked" and never receives face data.
- Notifications: if you allow them, your phone gives the app a notification address (push token) that we keep with your account.
We do not collect your location, contacts, microphone, health data, or anything about other apps and websites you use.
Carrier (FedEx) accounts
The public LastStop app has no carrier sign-ins and no carrier report downloads. We do not see or store contractors' FedEx logins or FedEx data through it. A company that runs its own private, separately configured version may load its own carrier reports into its own space; that data stays inside that company.
How we use it
Only to run LastStop for your company: signing you in, showing each person the pages their company allows, sending sign-in, invite and offer emails and the notifications you asked for, keeping the records your company needs, billing your company for its plan once billing is on, keeping the service safe, and answering support requests. We do not use customer data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models, and neither may any provider we use.
Cookies
LastStop sets one cookie: your sign-in session. It is needed for the app to work. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt into or out of.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers (sub-processors), only to run LastStop. The full, current list is at app.laststop.app/subprocessors. We share information with others only when your company tells us to, when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. We never sell or rent it.
How long we keep it
As long as your company uses LastStop. Job applicants are archived, not deleted, so the company keeps its hiring records. When a company leaves LastStop, it gets a full export of its data first, and then its data is removed. If a person or a company asks us to delete their own data, we delete it or remove what identifies them, except records a company is required by law to keep.
Your choices and rights
- See and download your data: in the app, open Account and choose Download my data. A company's administrators can export all of the company's data from Admin > Export.
- Delete your account: in the app, open Account and privacy and choose Delete my account. Your sign-in stops at once on every device, and your name and email are removed from the account. Records your company keeps (for example, who moved an applicant on) then show "Closed account".
- Correct or remove: write to [email protected] or to your company.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union) you may have more rights, such as to know, correct, delete or move your data. We honor them and never treat you differently for using them. We answer within 30 days.
Security
Passwords are stored scrambled, every connection is encrypted (HTTPS), each company's information is kept apart from every other company's, and people only see the pages their company gives them.
Children
LastStop is a workplace tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell company owners in the app or by email before a significant change.
